1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

AnglinAI is committed to making TheAccessibleOrgChart usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is not an afterthought for us — it is a core principle that drives the design, development, and testing of both the application itself and the HTML org charts it generates.

We believe that organizational information should be available to all members of an organization regardless of ability. That belief is why this product exists, and it shapes every decision we make.

2. Current Accessibility Status

Our target conformance level is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This standard is widely recognized as the benchmark for web accessibility and covers a broad range of recommendations for making content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

We are continually working toward full conformance. While we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 AA across the entire Service and all generated outputs, this statement reflects our ongoing efforts and is not a declaration of full conformance. Accessibility is a continuous process, and we address issues as they are identified.

3. Measures We Have Taken

We actively invest in accessibility through the following measures:

3.1 Application Design and Development

  • Semantic HTML: We use semantic elements (headings, landmarks, lists, buttons, and labels) throughout the application to ensure assistive technologies can parse page structure correctly.
  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard alone. Focus indicators are visible on all focusable elements.
  • Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
  • ARIA attributes: Where semantic HTML alone is insufficient, we use WAI-ARIA attributes to provide additional context to assistive technologies.
  • Skip navigation:A “Skip to main content” link is available on every page for keyboard users.
  • Responsive design: The application is usable across screen sizes, from mobile devices to large monitors.
  • Touch targets: Interactive elements meet the WCAG 2.2 minimum target size of 24x24 CSS pixels, with most elements meeting the enhanced 44x44 pixel recommendation.

3.2 Generated Org Chart Outputs

  • All generated HTML templates use semantic heading hierarchies, meaningful alt text, ARIA roles, and keyboard-navigable structures.
  • Templates are validated against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria during development.
  • Interactive templates include keyboard event handlers and focus management.

3.3 Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Automated testing: We run axe-core accessibility audits as part of our continuous integration pipeline. Every build is checked for accessibility violations before deployment.
  • Manual testing: We perform periodic manual testing with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA) and keyboard-only navigation.
  • Continuous improvement: Accessibility issues reported by users are prioritized and addressed in subsequent releases.

5. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the Service may have accessibility limitations. We are actively working to address these:

  • AI-extracted data accuracy: Organizational data extracted from images by AI may contain errors. Users should review and verify extracted data before generating final outputs. The review interface is fully accessible.
  • Complex interactive charts: Some interactive org chart templates involve complex tree navigation that may present challenges for certain assistive technology configurations. We provide alternative non-interactive templates (such as indented lists) for maximum compatibility.
  • Uploaded image content: We cannot guarantee the accessibility of content within user-uploaded images. The purpose of the Service is to convert such visual content into accessible HTML.
  • Third-party content:Some third-party components (such as Stripe’s payment forms) are maintained by their respective providers. While we choose providers that prioritize accessibility, we cannot directly control their implementations.
