Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TheAccessibleOrgChart (the “Service”), available at orgchart.theaccessible.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AnglinAI (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Account Terms

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You may not use another person’s account without their permission.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure. We recommend using a strong, unique password.
  • You must notify us immediately at support@theaccessible.org if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Payment and Refunds

The Service operates on a credit-based pricing model. Credits may be purchased as one-time packages or through a recurring subscription. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.

  • One-time purchases (Single Chart, 3-Pack, and similar packages) are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided unused credits remain.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not issued for partial subscription periods.
  • All prices are listed in US Dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

For full details, see our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the Service to upload, process, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users’ accounts, or systems connected to the Service.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute generated outputs in a way that competes with the Service itself.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, templates, and documentation, is owned by AnglinAI and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

  • Your content: You retain all rights to the organizational data and images you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content.
  • Generated outputs: The HTML org charts generated by the Service are yours to use, distribute, and modify as you see fit. You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to the generated outputs.
  • Our templates: The underlying template designs and code remain the intellectual property of AnglinAI. You may use the generated outputs but may not extract, redistribute, or sell the templates themselves separately from the Service.

6. WCAG Compliance Disclaimer

The Service is designed with the goal of producing HTML outputs that conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We use automated testing tools including axe-core to validate our templates. However, WCAG compliance is a best-effort commitment, not a guarantee.

Accessibility conformance can be affected by factors outside our control, including but not limited to: the quality of uploaded data, modifications made to generated outputs after download, and the assistive technologies used by end users. We encourage you to conduct your own accessibility testing on generated outputs before publishing them in production environments.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not warrant the accuracy of AI-extracted data from uploaded images. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted organizational data before generating final outputs.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANGLINAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service;
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions;
  • Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-extracted data;
  • Any other matter relating to the Service.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid to AnglinAI in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@theaccessible.org. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or extended periods of inactivity.

Upon termination, we may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to allow you to export your data before deletion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your account or through a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
